BEWARE: BEES ABOUTThe jammed cars blew their horns for more than 25 minutes in Palma as a stationary queue stretched from Plaza Mayor to Plaza Cort. Police car number 652 had pulled into the one way street - the wrong way - and abandoned his car, presumably in the course of duty. As the jam stretched back to police headquaters at the town hall an officer was sent up the queue to investigate. With an arm sway of dismay he gave up; without of course booking the offending vehicle... just keeping the peace! |
