The Instituto de Formació Ocupacional i Feina I.M.F.O.F. (The Institute of Occupational and Work Formation) is an autonomous organisation within the Palma Town Council created with the intention to develop employment, better the occupational abilities of the unemployed and promote the creation of new businesses in our city.
One of the services of I.M.F.O., is the Municipal Employment Agency. It is a non-profit making entity authorised by I.N.E.M. (National Employment Institute) as stated in the Royal Decree 735/1995 dated the 5th May. It consists of a freee public service whose intention is to inter-mediate in the work market between the unemployed and the jobs available. It is open to all the public and private businesses that need to contract employees, carrying out the process of recruitment of employees, the selection and presentation of candidates.
In order to bring this service to the attention of the foreign business owners in Mallorca, we have asked for the collaboration of the Association of German Businessmen (D.M.U.) to present you with a questionnaire which will help us carry out a preliminary study on the creation of a service adapted of the necessities of the foreign business owners in the island. You will find attached to this letter a questionnaire, which we ask you to complete in order to evaluate your interest in the local employment market. Once the questionnaire is completed you may send it by email, fax or post at the above-indicated address.
